Bringing you an update about some exciting events coming up this fall, as well as introducing our new CASP Director!
"Love Your Neighbour!"
This Sunday, September 10th, we will kick off a new series that will run through the end of November. We will explore how we can show love to our neighbours here at GBC, our neighbours in the Greater Forest Lawn area, and our neighbours in our daily lives, whether at home, work, school, or elsewhere. Join us this Sunday to get a glimpse of what's in store!
 
Please join us after the service this Sunday, September 10, for lunch in the gym. $2 per person or $5 per family for pizza, salad and dessert!

Navigating Grace
Discovering more about GBC, Baptism, Membership, and Beyond
We will be holding a "Navigating Grace" class this fall! It will be a chance to learn more about GBC, baptism, membership, and all of the ministries that make up Grace. More information to come.

Spiritual Gift Study
Coming this fall we will be doing a short study on who God created you to be, understanding your gifts, and where to get started using them. More information to come!

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner
Sam Jones and Nicole Voth are organizing a "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" October 1 at 12:30pm! All are welcome, sign up in the foyer or you can fill out the form here!

Student Ministries
If you would like more information about Student Ministries or a calendar for all of their fall events, talk to Sharley.
Kick-Off Event - Friday, September 8 from 7:00-9:30pm at GBC
theGathering - Beginning this Sunday, September 10, theGathering will be starting up! We meet most Sundays in The Den from 6:30-8:30pm to study the Bible, play games, and participate in a time of fellowship. Anyone grades 7-12 is welcome to come out and join us for these Gatherings!

Children’s Ministries
Registration - If you haven't registered your children for Sunday School go talk to our volunteers at the Children's Ministry info desk!
Sunday School - Join us this Fall, as we will be diving into the early life and ministry of Jesus, and discovering what it means to be a follower of God. We will also take this time to dig deeper into the meaning of loving and caring, not just for those close to us, but also for the rest of God’s creations.
Fall Family Event - October 27 at GBC, more information to come.

Great news! We have hired a new CASP Director, Lorraine Gao-ay! Some things to know about Lorraine? Lorraine graduated from an Early Childhood Education program and has spent the last 7 years working in child care with after school programs and daycares. She loves watching children learn and explore their worlds, as well as working with their families. Lorraine considers working in childcare to be her "calling". We are super excited for her and her humble and kind nature to join our staff team, and we know that her great ideas for the after school program will bring it to new heights!
