The weather is warming up and things are looking bright for our summer months! Praise God!
Sunday Series
The GBC congregation has been enjoying a wonderful preaching series in Ephesians over the last few months and will be wrapping that up soon. Praise God for our pastoral staff who have faithfully guided us through God’s Word.
Gatherings
We have had some wonderful gatherings in the last few months as well. From the Breakfast Connection, celebrating Good Friday together, the Midpoint Gathering, Adult Picnic and re-opening the Mosaic, there have been many opportunities to gather!
New Carpet
New carpet now graces the floors of some major areas in our building. Make sure to check out the fresh new look!
Thank You
As a church body, we participated in the Hope Mission Food Drive and the Baby Bottle Campaign for the Pregnancy Care Centre. Thank you to everyone who gave so generously!
We said a tearful farewell to Pastor Alice Kung as she felt God’s calling on her life to end her time at Grace Baptist Church. We prayerfully wish her well and all of God’s richest blessings on her life.
Pastor Hugh Fraser has finished his time leading us in our transition and vision process. We are so thankful for his faithful service at GBC over the last few months. He has been an obedient servant during this transition process in pointing us towards our faithful God and our future as a church. We do look forward, as Pastor Hugh said, to being “harmonious and fruitful” as we continue to Pursue God’s Will Together.
Our June Congregational Meeting was a celebration and reminder of how God is working in our midst.
We look forward to having the church full of happy children as we begin Vacation Bible School in July.
God has been at work at GBC as we continue on the journey of Pursuing God’s Will Together!
