The purpose of the Building Manager position is to oversee our current custodial staff; manage, coordinate and participate in all building maintenance projects and requirements; and assist in custodial duties at Grace Baptist Church.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Supervise custodial staff
  2. Perform and manage some custodial and maintenance duties
  3. Assist in hosting rental and church events
  4. Oversee safety, security, maintenance and repair strategies for the GBC building
  5. Manage budgets for facility care and maintenance

Working Conditions

  • Hours of work
    • This is a part-time position. Approximately 15-20 hours a week. Hours could expand as rentals and events expand.
  • On-call responsibilities
    • This position may require on-call availability to address facility emergencies as needed

    • Free parking on-site.

Staffing Responsibilities

  • Reports to Pastor of Ministry Development
  • Supervises/coordinates custodial staff, volunteer facility teams and event hosts
  • Will participate in team meetings and activities
  • Performance evaluation and review will take place annually during the month of July
