Grace Baptist Church Vision Statement

To grow together as deeply rooted followers of Jesus who steward our gifts to serve God’s Kingdom.

This individual will minister at Grace Baptist Church as a temporary Ministry Intern in the summer of 2025. The Ministry Intern will support various aspects of church programming, including community outreach, youth, and children’s ministry. This opportunity is intended to provide hands-on ministry experience and mentorship while contributing meaningfully to our church’s mission.

  • Is between the ages of 18 and 30.

Responsibilities & Tasks

General Ministry (60%)

  • Attend staff meetings, as requested.
  • Assist with ministry programs – provide support in the development and execution of church programs, events, and services.
    • Assist with youth and children’s ministry programs – help in planning and running youth gatherings, Sunday school classes, and youth events.
  • Community Engagement Initiatives – explore and potentially develop new ways to engage the community of Radisson and beyond in support of the mission and vision of the church.
    • Participate in organizing and executing community service events, ex. food drives, school supply drives, or other outreach missions.
  • Assist in organizing and overseeing Vacation Bible School.

Administration (30%)

  • Provide administrative assistance - help organize rooms, record-keeping, and prepare materials for various church activities.

Other (10%)

  • Mentorship: Meet with the Pastor of Children’s Ministry and Community Outreach or the Lead Pastor once a week.
  • Team collaboration: Work alongside GBC staff for occasional events and programs.

  • To the Pastor of Children’s Ministry and Community Outreach

Job Status:

  • Temporary Full-time: 35 hours per week (8 weeks)
  • $17 per hour
  • Ideal Start Date: June 16, 2025
