Cindy Kanwischer

Cindy has been attending GBC since she renewed her commitment to God at the Billy Graham crusade the summer of 1981 (super long ago!).  Cindy had never heard of a “church youth group” (or contemporary Christian music!) and Ioved being a part of that group and making lifelong friends there.

She married her best friend and companion in life (Darren) way back in 1988 and has loved being the parent of two amazing girls and an equally amazing son-in-law.  

Cindy works part-time at GBC as the Office Manager, providing general office management, administrative support for ministry staff and volunteer ministries, and content and distribution of church-wide communication.  She loves her church and her job and all those that she gets to interact with!  Cindy has been working at GBC since 2013.   

Outside of work, Cindy is part of the leadership team for Bible Study Fellowship in Calgary, an international organization offering structured Bible study classes throughout the world.  She truly values her time spent studying God’s Word in depth and discussing the lessons each week with a group of ladies.  When she is not doing that, her favourite thing is to hang out with her kids and hubby, enjoying great conversation and food!
